I concur it was a great class today. Al was a great help as always.
-
I was there as well. Al did such a good and thorough job. And he sure has some good stories to share as well.
-
He did do a great job, I have only hunted turkey's once, so this was very helpful.
-
Glad y'all had a great time at the seminar unfortunately we couldn't make it had other pressing matters at hand.

I also attended. Boy, Al is a walking dictionary when it comes to turkey hunting! Very useful seminar.
All of that camo, calling equipment, maybe a different gun.... These seminars are dangerous :hello:

As long as you have a shotgun with screw in chokes your fine. My first bird I shot I didn't have a screw in choke gun, just had a old New Haven 12ga with a LONG barrel.

OK, who was really paying attention? If you can answer this question I know you were there, if you get it right then there is no way you were really paying attention.
How many times did Al pick up his diet coke, take the cap off and then get into a story or answering a question and not take a drink?
Having been to many of Al's seminars and helped at a few it became a joke for us helpers to see how many times this would happen. He usually brought two or three diet cokes and seldom finished half of one during a clinic but he would spend some time holding that bottle :chuckle: :chuckle:.
Glad you all enjoyed it Al does a great job though I think sometimes he works to cheap. I now he has put a lot of new folks into the sport .
Turkeydancer, THANK YOU AGAIN FOR ALL YOU DO FOR TURKEY HUNTING and TURKEY HUNTERS!

he didn't have diet coke,Safeway brand, and he took numerous drinks but took the cap off at the beginning of the seminar and left it off till we were done :chuckle: :chuckle:

Winner winner, turkey dinner ! It was a REFRESHE (Safeway brand) diet coke ... I did have the cap off from the start, and even got a few drinks in ....
:dunno: Hey, I guess even an old turkey hunter can still learn new tricks! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
.....but I was still dried out by the end.
I enjoyed the seminar and all the questions ... good luck to everyone this year and be sure to let me know how you did.

I will be doing another complete turkey hunting seminar at noon to 2 pm on Sat. Mar 15th, and at 3 pm too 4 pm I will be taking on After the Harvest .... basically processing the bird, but with a few other goodies thrown in.
On Sun Mar 16th, their will be a turkey calling contest at noon, and at 2pm - 3pm, I will be talking about tactics and startegies only.
