I can honestly say, I have never seen one that big alive anywhere.  Only through pictures and internet.  Definitely a nice bull.

public doesnt really matter in UT as there are huge bulls in all units with the way its managed. Prolly once every 15 years to hunt that unit

Actually, most guys drawing a limited unit this year will have about 20 points and no there aren't monster bulls in every unit.  Utah has gone downhill a lot for quality of bulls. The best units are now managing for an age class of six to seven year old bulls. They used to be managed for eight to nine year old bulls.

And he shot it near a road. I hate seeing bulls like that coming out whole. I'd cape it just to get the pic with the rack on my back

No, I guess you couldn't sense my sarcasm. But I do prefer taking them out in pieces even if a vehicle is accessible. Easier to leave your mess in the woods too for the critters to eat, than cleaning it up in my garage.

Try telling that to the hunter... This bull was actually on the cover of this months Huntin' Fool magazine... incredible bull regardless how far it was from the road or what unit it came from...
