They are doing AMAZING things these days in cancer treatment. My dad has battled cancer three times in as many years. I wish you both the best of luck.

I can count on one hand how many times I've prayed in my life. Tonight I will add one for you.
I have to give you this info. Its called the ketogenic diet. Cancer cells live on glucose, they will die without it. The human body needs glucose also but the bodies cells have the natural ability to live off keytones, cancer cells cannot. By starving the body of glucose (sugars) they are seeing amazing results in defeating metastasising cancers. Unfortunatly Doctors are educated by institutions that won't accept these kind of treatments. I visited a friend in the hospital once with cancer. They fed her white bread and jello. Im no doctor nor do i know the cure for cancer but I know its not white bread and jello. Here's more info, good luck my friend. http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/healthscience/2012/december/starving-cancer-ketogenic-diet-a-key-to-recovery/ (http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/healthscience/2012/december/starving-cancer-ketogenic-diet-a-key-to-recovery/)

Went through the cancer scare last couple months personally...will hold him up in prayer nightly...keep him positive! Amazing things they can do for treatment now!

As was stated earlier; they're doing amazing things with cancer treatments now. I've had several friends that are recovering and in remission from a few of the very bad forms of cancer that are out there right now. Sorry, they're all bad but some are worse than others.
One of the things that I've seen in all survivors is a positive attitude. It's got to be hard to maintain but it's believed that the brain can heal the body. I know there's more to it than that but it really does help and I've seen it first hand in many cases.
Do everything you can to take those trips you have planned and enjoy the moments. Prayers sent.
