I've been the same way....I went scouting yesterday with my 4yr old...I still need to get my multi season app.......come on sept!

Zack, no sir you're not alone! (grin) I'm nearly 60 & am like a kid at Christmas awaiting the Elk Opener as well. Sounds like you're preparing well & doing your best to stay fit, that's half the battle there! Keep the fire burning as it's contagious & may inspire others, good luck!

I am almost done with the new gear. I have my Kenetrek boots broken in, started my distance running/weightlifting workouts. The range should be operational here soon, then its time to get serious.

We're officially closer to the the season in front of us than the one behind. Can't wait!

Just to make a really good upcoming season updated my alpine archery bow from 1997 to a brand new strothers wrath looking at some major potentials this year. going to try to fill all my tags this coming season before going back to sea. already out in the woods scouting and setting up the new bow. to bad we cant move the clocks forward to opening day. really exited for next season.
-
I get excited for this next season as soon as last season is over! Pulled my bow out this past weekend. Already ordered and received some new Phelps medium frame calls. I ordered two of each of a couple different kinds so I can practice in the truck on the way to and from work. Ordered a coule more game cams, which I will be putting out soon. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas day each year, except it's opening day of Archery elk that I can't wait to get here and hunt.

A great year for scouting a new area. Rumor has it that the area I hunted last year had around 14 branched bulls, and on the last day of late muzzy number 14 was killed. Find it hard to believe, but that's supposedly the case. But then again, the year before had about the same amount shot. :dunno:

Terry, by it online! Did you purchase your 2014 hunting license yet (with an elk tag)? If so, then you can purchase the multiple season application. Then, go back in the system and submit the application. Complicated, but easy. Only $7.10 for the application (if I remember correctly). Do it now! You only have 7 more days.

I'm not sure what they meant by that. :dunno:
As pd said, get online and buy your application. You do not even need to submit it. Your application is automatically submitted so all you have to do is purchase the application. You only need to submit it if you want to apply for the point option or if you want to apply with a partner.
Here is a link to where you purchase licenses and applications: https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/

Only do your stuff online, do not go through vendors, a couple of years ago my buddy called me and had me talk to the guy at Big 5 to walk him through how to purchase a turkey tag. Vendors are joke!

Is that the one you print at home? I'm thinking it is. I never paid much attention to it and never bothered printing it. They will send you all the documents in the mail.
