With all this rain, I bet the river will be really blown out
-
River was loaded with fish today. I drive over the river everyday. I will be making a run up the river after work to find them for saturday morning.

Done. Thanks Loki.
I selected "other". Gee, how come an option to close the commercial fishery down and keep open the private taking of smelt was not available?
This was my suggestion. Close the commercial fishery. Keep open the private sport fishery.

Drove over the Cowlitz today. Lots of birds over the water. The smelt are still there.

Yeah, I don't understand why the commercial and the recreational have equal footing when one makes a profit from a public resource and the other brings much more $$ into the economy per pound of fish caught. :dunno:
