Ok, so I'm still working on this knife and getting ready to do the etching. Did I get it right?

I'd show ya what it looks like etched but I got the blade all taped up to protect it. You'll have to wait till it's finished now. Should be this week. I am running a little bit behind because I am spending two days a week in Milton with my mom, she is going fast from the cancer.

Well it took me a little longer than anticipated, but I got it done and it ships to its new owner in the morning. The black bear on the left side is hard to see in the pic but looks good in real life :tup:

I really like the etching and the handle is sweet but not really fond of the actual blade design but it may just be exactly what someone is looking for Good job

Picked it from the Post Office today. This is one cool knife :tup:, love the weight of it nicely balanced, super high quality knife all custom made. Hope my son likes his graduation present, plus the bear engravings since he got his first bear last year with me in the same spot I got mine in 1997. :llam:

Can cast iron conditioner be used in place of vegetable oil ? :dunno:

Probably, any good food grade oil will work good.
