Hopefully the wind will die down for you. Coyote vocals should get you some responses this time of year for sure.

What kind of coyote vocals would you recommend? I have a foxpro and just picked up the foxpro black jack tonight... And might give it a shot outside the closed areas just don't want to risk an area we don't 100% know and go into the closed areas ya know!

Challenge howls will work well this time of year. They are or already have turf staked out and they don't like company. A landowner called me tonight and said there was 3 out in there field this morning fighting like mad. So I think some challenge howls when this wind lays down will seal the deal.

Was thinking about getting a howler but ended up getting the foxpro blackjack and don't have any challenge calls on my foxpro but one of my buddies might have one will have to give it a try, I'm already not going to sleep as it is haha, thanks for the info! We will try it all!

Wenas never disappoints!  Many green dot roads and feeding station also.  U can get there from Yakima or elendsburg.  Depending where u coming from.  Hit the hills.  I always used a rabbit call there.
Bring a gazetteer and look up wenas lake.
Like I said.  Plenty of public land n dogs.

Rainier training area .You need to get a pass and watch a safety movie but it's worth it.We average 10-12 per day just glassing no calling.Huge bucks in there also.Hunt along the river and shots can be 2-300 yards AR-15 is the ticket.

Are you talking about the JBLM Yakima Training Center... or is there a Rainier TA also?
