I'm not to sure exactly what this bill means to us. Is it just making shorter barreled AR types rifles legal?
I am all for removing unnecessary restrictions. Wait aren't most of them unnecessary?
-
Why would I care about this bill?
-
Why would I care about this bill?
Because other gun owners do?
Or is it all about you?

OK, try for a moment not to be a jerk and explain why this bill is a bad bill. Try really hard.

Ok smart guy......Try reading the bill before making stupid comments.
I happen to think it's a good bill as it allows for the possession and manufacture (with federal tax stamp) of short barreled rifles.

I did read the bill. My "stupid comment" was to find out why others may think it's a bad bill. I'm still unsure why that offended you enough to say I was only thinking of myself. I'm very active in 2A issues, probably a lot more than most on this forum, and that includes you. If asking why people think this is a bad bill to get a different perspective is stupid, fine; I'm stupid. But you should really try and figure out who your real enemies are and quit making them up, Jay. Take some of that anger and go after someone who wants your guns, not me.
So, if anyone else can tell me why they think this is a bad bill, I'd sure appreciate some constructive input. Thanks.

Nice try.... Really, a wonderful effort.
If you want constructive input, why not ask about what is good about the bill?
There are several barrel and parts manufacturers in Washington that will benefit from this. There are retailers that will benefit and tax revenue that will go to the state general fund.
And the Feds will get a few bucks.
Try to look at the bright side of life.

P man your first comment did come off as being a jerk.
I've never understood why SBRs should be illegal anyways. They just assume they are too easy to conceal or what?
-
I thought this bill was dead? HOPE IT PASSES!!!

Sorry if I want to know how people feel about the bill. I didn't expect to get piled on. Good luck you guys on which way you want it to go. I'm not getting involved. God I can't wait until hunting season.

Does anyone know what time the vote is scheduled for?
-
Probably in the next 15 minutes.

Inslee needs to sign it. Then it becomes law 90 days after the legislative session ends.

Thanks to all reponsible for the introduction and promotion of this bill.
Can't wait to file a form 1. Sitting in the safe, waiting to get chopped and threaded: Ruger 77/44 and Marlin Camp 9 in a Choate folder.

You too, BC? I was simply asking for some clarification. You guys really suck to someone who's on the same side of 2A as you. I can't frikkin believe this. I didn't expect that out of you, BC. Really disappointing. :bash:

Cha-Ching!
That's what my credit card is going to be sayin! :)
-
Why would I care about this bill?
And that's what non hound hunters said several years ago.

Boss it sounds like this is a miscommunication. I ask for info quite a bit on here and there's no reason you shouldn't be able to. Recall that verbal communication is said to be 50% body language, 47% paralinguistics, and 3% actual words. I think its just the way some people perceived your question that led to a little flare up. "Tell me what this bill is all about" probably would have garnered an explanation with a lot less edginess and a lot quicker than "why would I care about this?" :)
