I just started getting into hunting and I was wondering if anyone knows any areas (private or public) in eastern Washington for turkey hunting

Colville National Forest north of Spokane is probably some of the best around for public land. Your best bet on a turkey is NE Washington and that's a good place to start. Get a Washington State Gazetter Atlas from almost any sporting goods store and it will point you in the right direction.
I haven't been over there for a few years now but if you do a search on this site you'll see a lot of people refer to that area. I scout a lot on Google Earth also. I've saved a lot of boot leather screwing around on it. Good luck!

There is a lot of timber company land, Inland Empire Paper, Hancock plus the Colville National Forest.
