Steve Brownell will not be there to give his muskrat demo. Intead Fred Lawrence will talk about setting Hancock traps and Comstock traps. Steve was scheduled for 8:00 and Fred will not be able to start at 8:00 so I may do a beaver skinning demo starting at 8:00 and Fred will start around 8:30. This may push the time back on some of the other demos.
Looks like we might have as many as 5 buyers.
Couple of key people I counted on going to be absent so I may need help setting up if you get there a little early.
Hope to see you there.

I had a question about the rendezvous, my hunting partner and I are looking at getting into trapping next season, neither of us haveany real trapping experience but were looking to take the trappers ed class as soon as possible. Main question, would the rendezvous be a good thing for us newbies to go to and check out? Also is there anything else we should know about the event.
Thank you,
Bobby

I think you guys should come if you can. You can always learn something from the demos and maybe pick up some supplies at the auction. Besides, you get to hang out with a bunch of cool trappers!

There should be some good learning possibilities with the demos we have. You can look at some traps and see what we are using plus there are some for sale. Maybe even win the door prize. Costs only $5 to get in.
