Good luck! Try slow trolling bottom walker/worm harness rigs in the Lind Coulee arm. The gravel pits and the S E end of Medicare Beach have been good to me over the years. Be careful between Goose Island and the dam, lots of rocky reefs there that come up to the surface or very close!

thanks I will put in at the ramp at the mouth of lind and head out and a little north

Isn't it a bit early for walleye Raz?

I caught a 10 pounder just offshore from the, I think, Crab Creek boatlaunch using a bottom bouncer weight and a rapala type lure. However, that was in May or so I think since the bluegills were spawning as well.

Were you blade baiting it or trolling bottom bouncers? My dad's heading over this Thursday so we can fish it this weekend. Never have tried it this early so if the wind isn't howling we might try out on the main lake first with blade baits in some deeper water.

Yeah I haven't tried blade baits before, but from what it sounds like it's the preferred method this time of year. I guess as long as you're able to locate the school, it should be decent to catch some using the jigging technique. Did you catch any perch?

zero perch, what I did was find the perch balls and fish across them
