Title: Anyone camped/fished Crooked Creek Trail #3100 in Umatilla National Forest?

Just looking for a low volume trail to hike and camp for a few nights.

Maybe fish - what's it got?

Post by: mtncook on March 26, 2014, 11:01:57 AM: We use the upper 1/2 a lot during summer and fall. The brush is terrible in a lot of places and seems like you are riding through a car wash. The tread is sometimes hard to see through the brush also. Late in the fall when the frost takes the leaves off the travel is much improved. The FS did about a mile of good brushing in 2012 but many more miles to do. The fishing is only good in the lower sections where there is enough water about where 2nd creek joins. Bulltrout is the predominant fish and as you know cannot be taken home. Snakes are not to bad but certainly there.
