I am trying to come up with some demo-album cover art for my band (www.myspace.com/aimwest). I was thinking of maybe putting something like a night picture of Seattle on the cover like the attached, but I also wanted to incorporate a gun somehow to symbolize the "Aim" in AimWest. Any ideas? We are an acoustic/folk/alt/gospel band, that's kind of a new genre :chuckle:
Does anyone have a good night picture of Seattle they would let me use? Its just a demo-cd so there wouldn't be any money associated with it but I would of course give the photographer credit. I will pretty much just be trying to giving the CD away at my show Jan 3 in b'ham if I can get the demo put together in that time.
Thanks for any help,
AAron

I like your tunes man

Curious to where you recorded? Nieghbor recently had a similar type band at his studio??

Those songs we recorded in my home, i recorded solo some stuff at a studio in Bellingham, but nothin' by Black Diamond. Must be another remarkably talented and underappreciated band out there hahaha
Thanks for the nice words Cackle.

Haven't had time to listen to the tunes, but as an old follower of locals, I would suggest not using anything resembling Seattle. That scene is played out and you would be better using something more local to your band or something more representative of your music.

Thats a really good point BTKR, I hadn't thought about it that way. Since we are a local band that kind of "un-localizes" us.

I don't have too much to say about your cover artwork, but I do like the music. Good work and good luck!
