Hey guys, just responding to a question regarding my favorite colors. For the drop shotting set up, my top 3 colors..#1- Natural Shad, #2- toss up between the Smelt and Lite Hitch, #3- Kokanee, all 4 of these colrs are killers state wide. Next month on Washington, the sticle back and Kokanee will be my first choices. The Stickle back is also my favorite at Potholes, IMO, it looks like a perch/bluegill in the water , which is the favored forage,IMO.
Regarding the 5" Swim Bait, I chuck this bait on all lakes, east or west and any river with bass, Top color for me, American Shad/Natural Shad. For the swimtail, I call em Sculpin patter, #1 shad and #2 would be the Ayu..IMO the best selection is at Tacklewharehouse on line, they have everything you'll need and shipping is only 5 bucks for 1-10 lbs, 2 day shipping, they only have 3 colors in the 5" Inch though. I have also been told that Limit Out Marine has a good selection, I have not been there yet so I cant give you exact details on what they have.  Good luck out there everybody...Im heading to Potholes on the 4th and 5th of April, holler at me if you see me, I have a red and white Skeeter with a 200 Vmax......Already loosing sleep
