So a friend told me today that the f...en fish and game are perposing that there trying to eliminate 700 cow in 2015. Really 700 cow out of the clockum heard. That's total nonsense, Really we don't have that many cows to eliminate to start with. When I started hunting when I was 9 I used to see herds that were huge come through but not so much any more. Mind you im only 31. That isn't that long ago. So I am purposing that we all should get on board to fight this. If they give out 700 cow permits for the clockum area the need to specify the area that they want them shoot. Because there are many herds in the clockum unit "328,329" Most will be shot over tords the clockum pass area and that way but that might not be where they need to be killed. I guess I just don't get what good will come out of this when the herd is dwindling so fast as is. So some in sight would be nice.
Thanks

If they give 700 permits, then they are probably only expecting 200-300 cows harvested. Looks like last year they had 400 antlerless tags available, so 700 would be a significant increase, but depends on the herd.
