Man I wish I were, good luck!! Remember if your Auto Bilge doesn't fire off, it aint raining it's just a light drizzle.

I will be there, my Dads coming over for the week. Will be taking him sat, sun and Monday. Probably go to banks on Monday. Been going quite a bit lately, Warmest water is 48, probably warmer in the dunes.

Went out last weekend and it's pretty dang good for walleye, no big fish though. Biggest ones we caught were 17". My dad lost the biggest one we saw. Ended up with 20 keepers for the weekend, lost about just as many and we didn't even get to fish it hard on two of the days because of the wind one day and we were getting low on gas another day. Water temps were around 48 degrees back in Lind Coulee where we were fishing.

2 years ago I had rollers breaking the bow, rolling down the deck and landing on my lap! :yike: Flattened my Lowrance in the process! That place is so awesome and such an adventurous place to fish
I would be jealous if I wasn't 2 1/2 weeks behind you :IBCOOL:

Well, how did you make out over at Potholes?
-
We did really good actually, been playing catch up ever since I got home. I will post a full report either tonight or tomorrow night, I need to look at my reader board and see what on the schedule for the next 2 evenings, I know my daughter has gymnastic tonight and not sure what my sons schedule looks like. I haven't even got to down load pics yet...Gonna be on Washington on this Saturday morning at 5am.... :IBCOOL:

I'm heading to Potholes for the first time Saturday. Is Lind Coulee the place to be? I'm flying blind here fellas.......
-
Lind coulee would be the easiest place to fish, just follow what the other boats are doing. They're catching walleye out by the mouth of Lind coulee too in deeper water or off perch point. One of the old timers at the store told me they were catching jumbo perch too off perch point aka Medicare beach in 40 fow. I saw alot of boats one day stacked around the northwest side of goose island, not sure if one just followed a boat there and they all went there thinking that was the place to be or not. They might've been bass fishing though because there's a drop off there. Never have tried walleye on that side of the island this early in the year. The humps up at the mouth of crab creek should produce too. Didnt try up there during our trip though.

I will be there in the morning and report back later

dinks dinks and more dinks, still a good morning fishing
