Title: Memories of Dad and many Chukar hunts
Post by: RG on April 08, 2014, 07:50:22 AM
I took these pictures a while back.  They remind me of my Dad. He was a rabid chukar hunter and, for my childhood from probably about 8 years old until I was a senior in high school, we chukar hunted every weekend of the season.  We hunted around Wenas Lake, Vantage, Yakima Canyon, Waterville, anywhere there were birds.  The limit was 8 a day then 5 later on, we usually limited back then.  He trained his own English Pointers.  Good memories alright.  Too bad the birds died off so bad.  RIP Dad.
