I am looking for (18) 18' tipi poles. I called WDFW but they had no resource information. Any leads are appreciated.

At the risk of sounding dumb, but are there "special" types of trees the poles have to come from?
Not sure were you are located but most places in washington state have trees, if you are in a place that has lodgepole pines then they are all over the place in 16-18ft range, small diameter and straight. Cut your own, peel and dry.
Get a pole permit so you are legal..

A friend of mine got a permit to cut tepee poles from the Twisp ranger station many years ago.
I would think the FS would be a better resource than DFW. :dunno:
