Highly doubtful!
WENATCHEE — A female wolf that biologists thought made up half of Wenatchee’s fledgling wolf pack has rejoined her old pack near Cle Elum, leaving doubt that the local one still exists.
“Even though we identified them as the Wenatchee Pack last year, right now we have no indication that they’re still here,” said David Volson, a wildlife biologist for the state Department of Fish and Wildlife in Wenatchee.

Hope they are lying in a ditch somewhere!

I'd venture to say that they have migrated a little west and taken up residence in the Wilson and Reecer Creek country.

My guess is the female mentioned might have ventured back but they were here a few years at least. That leads me to assume that there are pups out there that are just about the right age to establish a new pack. They always just assume since they haven't been seen that they aren't there. :bdid:

I guess that will take care of the one wolf WDFW staffers saw, I can see their count going down. :bash: :bash:
