Title: Coyote hunting
Post by: Huntlots on May 02, 2014, 07:36:01 AM: Anyone been out coyote hunting lately? Had any luck? Or have seen any? What tactics have you been using? Thinking of going out this weekend!

But im proud of this one 560 yards with my 243. didn't find it for a few days so the birds picked it over real good. Wish I could have bagged this one back in January when I killed its buddy. Blondest coyote I ever seen! I normally stop calling in February and dont start calling again till June. But I hunt them year round.

I'm gonna sit on my roof with my bow the next few nights and pick them off, had 2 in harrassing my chickens on and off the past few weeks, seems like my area is crawling with them now that no one lets you hunt anymore.
