Planning a hunt somewhere in the mission creek area off of the number two canyon rd outside of Wenatchee.
I'm not familiar with the laws on riding quads on roads in Washington state. I heard that the laws changed now and you can ride a quad on a 35 mph or less road in certain counties.
What does that say for the no 2 canyon rd and surrounding areas?

From what I am reading, they are allowing licensed atvs on forest service roads in the national forest. Cool.
I also found this web page on the state's website on how to make your atv street legal to get it licensed:

That is what I was thinking as well. They have to make all of these laws so confusing...

It's not a County decision on ATV riding on roads if it's on NF land, unless the road on NF land is a County road.
Follow those DOL requirements for making your ATV street legal and your good to go on NF roads.
Check with the NF Ranger District before you go just to make sure that the NF Supervisor has not changed the forest wide ruling he made last month.

Some of that land where you're talking about is not even National Forest land, so be aware of that. There is state land up there and on that you should be okay except for specific roads that may be closed. And there is private land too so be sure you know where you are at all times.

I know you can ride them on the east side of blewitt pass, but not sure if you can in the Mission Creek Drainage. Also there is a gate that is shut before hunting season starts so you cant go from number 2 canyon road into mission creek.
