So... this weekend a couple of buddies and i headed across the columbia river to do some pheasant and quail hunting. We had a great time but saw absolutely no quail or pheasant. My buddie said he had been there 3 times before and each time had at least 10 plus shooting opportunities. We found alot of trace but no birds. We did see 8 turkeys though, do you think this could be why they are not there? i hear turkeys can be territorial. We also saw a nice bighorn ram. he had a full curl and we got to within 5 yards of him (we were in a boat).
