Title: Naneum Rd. How are you accessing that area?
Post by: cdriver on May 04, 2014, 04:57:57 PM
I was over in Ellensburg this weekend, hunting/scouting off Colockum Rd, didn't see any coyotes but had fun tracking a small elk herd that was wandering thru the area. I drove over to look at the Naneum Rd. area afterwards, do people walk in from where the road is gated? It seems they don't want you driving up there  but it looked like you could walk in. Didn't appear to be signed as no hunt or no trespass, it is on either side of the gate but didn't seem that the road was signed as no hunt or trespass. The gate is the one just past the bridge, past what looks like a parking (no overnight) area. Thanks for your help.

Coleman Ck road.  About 10 miles up and shortly after you cross a cattle guard, take a left.  Drops you down into the Naneum off Dawson Ridge.
Been gated off for the better part of 30 years now at the bottom end.
