Title: Books on Elk Hunting?
Post by: WapitiTalk1 on May 16, 2014, 09:15:40 PM: I'm pretty sure I've ran this one before (old timer's disease gets me sometimes). What are your favorite, most resourceful, elk hunting books? Not talking magazines here (although Bugle tops my magazine list for a multitude of reasons), but what are your definitive paperback or hard back guides on elk that you have by your bed side table? Just curious.

Yes sir, this is quite the book. If you can find one, it's certainly worth having. I also re-read Elknut's Playbook, and, John Erickson's Tree Stand Hunting Rocky Mountain Elk on a regular basis.

this is a good one and I believe he just released an updated version of it in the last year. Still a big fan of Cam Hanes book Backcountry Bow hunting. A guide to the wild side.
