These guys were shot with my new rifle 6.5mmX270WSM . One was taken at 313 yards and the other at 300 yards. Running 95gr V-max pretty impressed with this thing for the longer ranges.

Nice. I am unfamilar with this set up. Is it a .270 or something different?
-
It's a .270 Winchester Short Magnum necked down to 6.5/ .264. It's fast!

Fast no kidding. sorry I am ignorant what do you modify to "neck down" the breach of the barrel or cartridges?
-
Both, Ken. That's what my 20LBC is--a whole barrel chambered and bored for a 6.5 Grendel case necked down to .204 cal. Love those wildcats. I just ordered a gun to shoot the 219 Donaldson Wasp cartridge. (Cases are formed from 30-30 Win. brass). I bet nobody else has one! :chuckle:

Dang that's explosive
