Title: Lake Pend Oreille fishing help
Post by: crschralping on May 20, 2014, 06:19:36 PM
Hi guys and gals, we are headed to Lake Pend Oreille for the long weekend and will be staying at Sam Owen. Going to be taking my 16' aluminum just wondering if anyone could help me out with any fishing info, I've never been there. I've got two downriggers and a 9.9 outboard.

I'm into any kind of fishing bass, trout, kokanee anything. Going to have a few of my buddies kids with us so it would be fun to get them on a few fish.

Thanks for any help!

Fished it a couple years ago.  We launched out of Faragut state park and mainly trolled from the launch to the west I believe.  Back into the cove.  We caught more Kokanee than anything along with a few lake trout.  We did best on the North side of the lake in about 40-60 ft of water.
