Might be wrong but I think I recently read that Roger Borine either has a litter due soon or maybe on the ground now. Probably see him this weekend and I'll try to remember to ask him.

Anyone got any leads?
Absolutely nothing against your breed of choice, but given what you have running around in the woods up your way have you thought about a Drahthaar? You'd get a bare knuckles brawler of a bird dog that isn't afraid to hunt.

We just bred my Brit. If she took, we will hopefully have pups on the ground in July. Not sure if we will have any available or not though. If she has a big litter, we might sell one or two. The sire is last years RuNC and currently the #1 AA Brit in the country. My female's not too shabby either, and her littermate is currently the #1 SD Brit in the country. We are crossing our fingers she took. She only got bred once because she kept trying to kill the sire when they were trying to get her bred.
keep me in mind, I might need one still or I've got a brother that might be ready.

What's your definition of ground coverage? Not all Brittanys are equal in that regard. Drahthaars aren't known for extreme range.
If you want hellfire and brimstone ground coverage look at English Pointers.

They aren't Brittanys, but if you mainly hunt grouse and want a dog with some wheels, I would not hesitate to tell you to look at this guy's dogs. If he has any pups left they would be money well spent to have shipped out here imo.

Nothing wrong with Brittanys and if that's the way you want to go do so. But Pointers are rather under represented out here and the coverdog breedings are worth checking out.

Not sure yet. My trainer bred the same sire a week earlier and that dam is showing. He also has a litter that was born in May on the ground. Those pups have pretty good lineage as well.

He has great dogs from what I've seen and hunted over. I'm pretty jealous of you as I talked to my wife about another brittany (which I will hopefully buy from him) and she pretty much told me to pound sand :chuckle: keep us updated with pics!

In 1984, Fay married her second husband, David W. Walker, who shared her love for dogs and horses. Together, they toured the United States and competed in field trials. On their off seasons, the couple lived in New Plymouth, Idaho where they bred Brittanys and raised Tennessee Walkers. Fay had a special way with dogs, and they loved her almost as much as she loved them.
Fay had the kind of strength many wish they had—setting her own broken arm, driving thousands of miles hauling fifth wheel trailers to trials, and birthing puppies better than any vet—but she was classy, too. She was a lover of stained glass, a seamstress of beautiful clothes, and could make Christmas caramels and chili rellenos that were blue-medal worthy. Mama Fay, as she was known by many, had more friends in her life than a person could expect. She cared deeply about everyone—even strangers—and will be sorely missed.
Fay M. Walker passed away on January 28, 2014 from complications after a fall. There will be a memorial celebration Saturday, June 28, 2014 at her daughter's home. She is survived by her husband, David W. Walker; her daughter, Tracy A. Blenker; her sister, Nina Gammons; her granddaughter, Danielle E. Blenker; her niece, Inger Lukens; and her great-niece and nephew, Kaarin Ramer and David Lukens.
