Got back from my annual trip to the Keys, this time with the original Huntwa as a partner in crime!!
Got my lifetime achievement fish... A 175lb Tarpon... No glory pictures as I grabbed it in the mouth to get the shot, it yanked away. Too the leader twice- legal catch. Guide stated 170-180, so we went half way... Ray got some cool video, so as soon as it is downloaded will post it... Got Sharks: Nurse, Lemon, BlackTips and a Spinner. Ray got a big "Ray". Got bored going after yellow tail snappers and other reef fish and threw out a bobber and dead fish, hoping for a big Barracuda- a nice surprise instead of a good female Mahi-Mahi... it was slower than years past, as weather front moved in the last couple days shutting off bite, but still fun and exciting as always...

More, plus my dream boat... 1400hp on a 32ft boat... Can you imagine pulling up to Olsens in this beast!!!! Would need about 100 bumpers to protect against the nails and crap hanging off the dock!

Nice pics.
Glad you had a great trip. It is good to see pics of Ray as well.

Sweet! Great fish, thanks for sharing! That's a destination that's on my to do list.
They sure know how to power a boat down there! I can imagine blasting out to the halibut grounds in one of those rocket ships! :chuckle:

Nice photos, those boats look under powered. :chuckle:
