Looks like the fishery is back from a 20 year closure

good news to hear it is making that good of a recovery.

It isn't so much of a recovery as it is there is a surplus of returning hatchery fish. All of our seasons here are based on excess hatchery returns that they want removed to limit impact on native spawning fish.
It is very cool to have a season though, might have to go down and try my luck. FYI bait is allowed as well, first time in YEARS bait could be used on the Wenatchee.

I've seen fish taken out of the Icicle. Not hearing much chatter from the snatch yet.

Rafted it with my girls on Saturday. Saw one guy hooked up. Maybe 15 boats between the mouth of the Icicle and Cashmere.

Will fishing hold up through the first few weeks of July? I'm vacationing at Lake Wenatchee then and would like to catch a king or 3 if fishing will still be good.

There are only 4 weeks in July. And its still 3 weeks away. So Id say no if your thinking the 3rd week in July.
Probably not much left in mid July.
