Title: Walleye fishing
Post by: robodad on June 08, 2014, 10:32:55 AM: I will be headed to Chelan end of the week for 5 nights and bringing my boat and I am wondering if there is anyone willing to give me some intel on where to go and what to use for them, We just used live minnows in Wisconsin but I guess that is illegal here. Plan on dragging around for some lakers too !!

No Walleye in Chelan, but there are plenty in the Columbia up there. Wells Pool, Rufus, and Roosevelt have Walleye.

Post by: Camo on June 09, 2014, 10:33:10 PM: If it was me, I would head to Banks. Maybe too far but might be easier to figure out for the first time? Lots of unders this year but the keepers are quality. Rufus can be really good right now but can be hit or miss with the water flows.

Its pretty steep across the river going out of Chelan, but once on top, its good, flat roads on into Coulee City. Not sure I'd go back that way pulling a boat, as you may have some smelly brakes at the bottom of the hill. :chuckle:
