I prefer to practice in the wind, and with gusty winds over 20mph today, I gathered up my Rbros 6.5x47 Lapua and my practice ammo (culls), I had just loaded on the Dillon 550, and headed to the range.
A fresh coat of paint on the 620 yard steel and headed back to the firing line.
Dialed up 3.3 MIL's ( forget to add 1 tenth) checked wind value and from prone with a rear bag and bi-pod, I squeezed off these 3 rounds.
Group is 1.9" left to right and .8" tall.
6.5 Lapua, Berger 130 VLD target, 42.2 grains of H4350, CCI 450 primers.
yup, done for the day.

Nice shooting Jimbo :bdid:! And in the wind too! But remember, it's just steel, not fur! Lol! :chuckle: :chuckle:

Nice! That's a good poke   :twocents:
Looking forward to stretching the legs of my Grendel soon. 500 yards is my goal by summers end. 600 would be :yike:  :IBCOOL:
