Title: Who drew tucannon or east wenaha elk muzzy?

Post by: nwhunter on June 12, 2014, 10:34:06 PM: Drop camp is a really good idea for that hunt. I wouldnt even think of going very far back in that country without mules involved. Drive over to teepee and look over the edge and decide for yourself though. You should be excited thats a great tag though.

Did you draw Wen East or Tucannon for your deer tag? I will probably end up making 4-6 trips into Wenaha East via mule between now and Oct. I will keep an eye out for any bucks...or someone carrying one on their back if we have an empty mule :chuckle:

Doesn't surprise me, she out scores you every year, why not make your elk look like a dink too. ;)

Post by: mtncook on October 22, 2014, 06:31:15 PM: I had 1 Tucannon and 1 East Wenaha hunter. Neither tagged a bull, however shooting and close encounters occurred. The first couple of days were the best then the temps got hot and the moon shown full. It was a tough time. The other Tucannon guy shot a 6X but not a boomer I understand.
