I had it couple years ago sadly ate it but hunted the week before genral and could only road hunt spooked a five point up no shot it snowd like a 6 or 8 inches that year they hunkered down good luck to youWell that sucks that you had to eat your tag wheels. I'm hoping I have better luck. I'm going to give it everything I got to try and pull a bruiser out of there :)

Had the tag with my dad last year and had a great time. Saw some nice bulls. My dad got his first bull opening day. I got one the last day. Weather was super nice for most of season which did not help. Good luck

a 300 class bull shouldn't be a problem with a rifle if your willing to get away from the crowds .Thanks coach, I am willing to get after it. Hoping to pull a dandy out of there. The toughest part will be keeping my finger off the trigger when I'm used to looking at bulls around here that are less than 200.

Get up there now! They are still singing! Great time to locate them. I have a member on here who Im gonna try to put on a 7x7 that has been hanging out in my deer spot! He is running on short time!!I was up in the 346 all weekend and I can confirm this. They were screaming every morning. I could hear them from my chair sitting by the fire

Thanks for the heads up on the camping. Sounds like I'll have to search around a bit for a decent spot. I have a wall tent I'm going to set up.I'll be hunting mostly off the 1900 system. Figuring on trying to find a spot to camp around crow creek or somewher along the Naches. I wish I could be over there right now but Thursday is the earliest I can make it. Hope the bulls are still fired up when season starts. I'll be driving a dark blue 96 Chevy with a buckmaster sticker on back window. I tried to post up a couple pictures of a few bulls I have on film but I must need to resize them or something.most of the good spots to camp are taken and have been since labor day. If you got a trailer, Longmire, long, lost meadow wouldn't be bad, Kaner campground is still open. I'd check across from the 1906 right after the bridge on the right.
sand creek up the 1902 could be another option.
