Title: Olympic muzzle bull tag
Post by: elkh8me on June 12, 2014, 04:49:16 AM
I was drawn in 2000 for this tag. Last night checked the results and looks like I drew it this year again.  It's first draw I have gotten since 2000. I am pretty excited because I know there are some good bulls in there.  I hunted near Brinnon last time not sure what I will do this year.

The hole time I was in PA for 8 years I put in for that tag, never could draw it. Seen some nice bulls in that heard. Swains in PA had the bull from 2012 on the wall what a stud of a bull. Good luck

I think there are a lot better bulls in there than the ones around Brinnon!

True, but what I experienced when I had the archery tag was that the small private parcels aound Sequim make that a really tough area to crack. Game warden I talked to said something to the effect of, "Don't even get lured in to hunting the area behind Sequim... You will have problems one way or the other..."
Hunt around Brinnon was great, and I killed a nice bull, if not as big as some I saw there too.
