Title: Peaches archery bull help please, willing to help anybody with southwest tags
Post by: Dutchie on June 13, 2014, 12:35:42 PM
Wasn't gonna pay to play for my area this year so I put in for peaches. Been in the country before but never hunted it. Excited to give it a go, burning all my vaca, gives me 9 days. Thanks in advance for any pointers, hopefully I can return the favor.

Smartest thing to do is call the game biologist in charge of those two units and ask where they have spotted the largest count of Elk.  They are of great assistance.

I think their will be horses involved now if all goes to plan. 5 miles in with a 40lb pack, not bad.  5 miles out with a 90lb. Quarter and up hill a lot tougher.
