Title: 2014 Pics
Post by: Dhoey07 on June 13, 2014, 12:50:44 PM: My dad's opening weekend bird. After my uncle missed one, and my buddy let one walk right by him cause he wasn't sure if it was a tom, it was his first time hunting turkeys.

Had a couple trips in between and then ended the season on the last day with something that I've always wanted to do, a cast and blast!

Birds seemed more vocal in May and responsive too. This was my first time hunting turkeys so late in the season. I hope i don't have to wait till the last day to get a bird next year but it was a great end to the season.
