Title: New DIY Archery Target
Post by: coop2424 on June 13, 2014, 07:16:20 PM: Decided to put this together with some scrapes I had laying around. Total cost was about $7 for nuts/washers and the all thread. I always wonder why I keep random parts laying around and it is for things like this.. :chuckle: Also made one for broadheads that was free but isn't as pretty. Post up any other diy targets you may have made. I plan on doing some more for different parts of my property which will be more water proof...

I don't have a picture, but I stuff a cardboard box with shrink wrap. It works pretty good for field points. Arrow removal is pretty easy and I just change out the box when it wears out.

The black stuff is boxes from flooring I have been installing.. The rest are boxes of all the stuff we got for our twins coming.. (Car seats,cribs,pack and plays, swings, and strollers). It adds up really quick with those huge boxes.. When I shoot out a area I just take bolts undone and replace the bad cardboard..

Post by: MtnMuley on June 15, 2014, 10:38:29 PM: I built the same target many years ago. I drilled the cardboard though about 3" in on each side. It held up much better in the long run. I didn't have wheels on mine. That's a handy idea.
