Dropped by the lynnwood sports authority the other night just to grab some trout lures, guess what? All hunting and fishing items removed! I was a bit dissapointed to say the least
-
No big deal! They rarely had anything worthwhile. If your in Lynwood you should go to Ted's. They have everything you could want plus a ton more!
-
Not really a big loss but I do see where its a pain in the butt if nothing else is around.

I bought a pair of "waterproof" Lacrosse boots from Sports Authority a few years ago. They leaked like a sieve the first season so I took them back. I had lost my receipt but told them I didn't want a refund, just replace the boots. They said no, I had to contact Lacrosse and do the exchange myself. Not really believing that was the case I asked for the store manager. He said "yep, you have to return them to the manufacturer, we won't exchange them for you". I explained to him that I had 21 years of retail experience including 7 years owning my own sporting goods store during which time I did business with Lacrosse and Danner directly and neither of those companies had that policy. Both of them were totally 100 percent supportive of the retailer when defective product was returned and that they would immediately replace the boots. He said he didn't care, that was the policy. I asked if he cared about what impression that left with the customers. He said no. I left in utter amazement. The boots looked new but were clearly wet inside and they still carried the same style on their shelves.
Any company with that poor of customer service will never get another dime of my money. It was the Lake Stevens store and I told the manager that clearly Cabelas was not going to get much competition from him. Sheesh, if he worked for me I'd fire him on the spot.

Teds ? Do you mean eds?

Teds is the fishing store almost across the street from the bikini barista place, porn store and pot shop on 99. A good store Teds is, and part of a real grand slam

How convenient! Can a guy rent an apartment on that block?

I believe one could, in fact one could probably even get one with a built in old lady.

There are some cheap RV parking lots around there. Wear shoes though in case you step on a needle.

Last time I was in any Sports Authority was 2002. I am surprised they have lasted this long..
-
Sports Authority has always been a joke of a sporting goods store. Its fine if you need a baseball or a soccer ball but for hunting or fishing gear it was worthless.
-
That's fine, we had to take out a loan just to get a jar of powerbait there. :chuckle:
-
Not big on them either, just annoyed. Most sporting goods stores have at least a little of everything, just hate to see hunting and fishing gone from stores is all
