Title: Mule deer/whitetail bucks running together?
Post by: jackelope on June 16, 2014, 09:39:08 PM: How often do mule deer and whitetail bucks run together in a group? Ever? Never? Curious to hear opinions on this.

Post by: jackelope on June 16, 2014, 10:44:16 PM: This is why I asked. I had these guys on camera a bunch since April. Last night I watched them through the glass all walk across a big CRP field then right out in front of my camera. There's about 12-15 bucks all together.

Post by: MtnMuley on June 16, 2014, 10:49:48 PM: It all depends on the area. I know of a couple areas where this is very common. Usually a couple whitey bucks with a group of muley bucks. I've seen nice muley with whiteys, but never seen a nice whitey running with muley bucks......wait, one time in the entiat, lol.
