Title: Walker Downriggers
Post by: Gobble Doc on June 19, 2014, 09:34:25 PM: Has anyone on here had any experience with Walker downriggers? Rumor is that I'm going to get an electric model for my birthday! It would end up on a 13 foot Boston Whaler. I figured I wanted a Scotty but I don't know much here.

Post by: meathntr on June 20, 2014, 11:35:13 AM: i have one of their electric models on my 16 foot boat. I also have a manual Scotty mounted on the other side. Its not a Scotty but works well. The depth gauge looses its place once in a while but i can see the ball with my depth finder so i can adjust accordingly. the pole holder attachment bolts have a tendency to loosen but some locktite took care of that problem.
