A rumor? Going round a local Wenatchee sporting good retailer had a gun go off a couple days ago..anyone know the story? Or just a rumor..always scary stuff.. :dunno:
-

More Wenatchee sporting goods store drama. It never seems to end.

The counter at Sportsman's Warehouse :dunno:
-
Customer was checked in, magazine was removed...but customer had second magazine..gun was handed back to him, he inserted a second, loaded mag, dropped slide, and gun went off...hole is obvious in the floor. Store did everything right..customer effed up big time!
-
No, not at Sportsmans. .
-
A senile with a piece of junk. Hooked on Toys or Stans :dunno:
-
Not Stans..
-
Why the suspense? It happened at Hooked on Toys. Gee wizz.
-
Exactly. This is such second grade type post. No wonder your other venture went tits up.
-
Kind of agree with MtnMuley about this being a grade school type of post. This is not the first gun store to have this happen and will not be the last. Sportsman's Warehouse is pretty new in town, but if they stay in business long enough it may very well happen there someday.

These type threads are sooooo old and useless. Somebody doesn't like somebody....something happens in a gun store in Wenatchee that someone else doesn't like......somebody decides to throw mud in order to attempt to deface someone else.
Move on, already. It's played out.

Nothing derogatory to Hooked on toys Jack..they did everything right, as I said. Customer was at fault. Posted to 're iterate how careless people can be with firearms, and we should all strive to educate people to be a little more responsible when handling firearms. Call it no big deal if you want, I have taken people to the emergency room for careless gun handling..it t is a big issue to me..have had friends die from careless handling of firearms..this customer could have hurt or killed an innocent bystander..only drama is your comments buddy...as usual...the crew at Hooked are good friends of mine...yes, it could happen anywhere, any store..

I agree on all points and I never said it wasn't a big deal. I, along with others, have no idea why you don't just come right out and say what happened?
-
Uh, yes, you kinda of inferred it. You, as usual, tried to make my comments into something they were not meant to be. Read above..

Uhhhhhh...no. I inferred that your pedalling around just coming out and stating the facts was silly. I actually didn't even infer it. I came right out and said it. I never made any attempt, inferred or out loud, at downplaying the accidental discharge.
Tell me when I've ever made a single attempt to spin your comments into something that wasn't meant to be.

Obviously I'm not alone in my thinking.

I've still heard nothing about this from the local news. But today it was the final Andrew York Lineman Rodeo. They raised $150,000 :dunno: in scholarships for his memorial

That is awesome!!!
