A co-worker has mentioned to me several times that there are cases where wolves have bred with yotes and have produced pups that are very aggressive...even towards people. Anyone else heard of this?

"Though coyotes are often mistaken for a domestic dog hybrid, recent genetic research has attributed the eastern coyote's larger size and unique behavioral characteristics to interbreeding with Eastern Canadian wolves (C. lupus lycaon). "

I read somewhere that 80% of wolves have some coyote DNA and vice versa ....http://chronicle.augusta.com/sports/outdoors/2014-03-29/pavey-coyote-trapped-srs-carries-dna-grey-wolf (http://chronicle.augusta.com/sports/outdoors/2014-03-29/pavey-coyote-trapped-srs-carries-dna-grey-wolf)
