as most of you have seen from my post i drew 4 tags this year and and im pumped but wife is haveing a problem lol i need to try and save some cash so i whould like to only use a guild on my WY hunt ands that leaves me with how do i hunt the POUGE I NEED ANY AND ALL INFO I CAN GET AND ANY LAND OWNER INFO WHERE I CAN HUNT.I HAVE MY ELK ,ANTALOPE and Mule deer hunts all taken care off ITS JUST THE pouge that i need help with.The one thing i realy need to know is that do i need to book it with a outfitter or can i do it on a weekend buy my self and get that 140 class deer and not spend 3000 :bash:

You must have not researched much if you're expecting to get your 140"er out of the "Pouge". Best of luck

I've only hunted the Pogue once, a couple years ago, with a late mule deer permit. The only whitetails I saw were in people's front yards or in the back field behind their house. I think that may be a tough hunt unless you have access to private property. I'd probably spend a couple weekends over there this summer and knock on doors. The whitetails we saw were just south of Conconully.
