Title: Where to find coyotes
Post by: dmv9 on July 04, 2014, 10:06:34 PM: So what kind of environment am I looking for to find coyotes? I'm set on LT Murray but what should I be looking for? Am I going canyon shopping? Looking for clearcuts?

Post by: stevemiller on July 05, 2014, 12:03:18 AM: They are literally everywhere,I like to get set up (out in the LT.Murray)in the draw where the creek runs thru.Set up about 3/4 way up on the hill and start calling,They will come.Good luck.Shouldnt have to worry about any target shooting lol since its closed down for it.

I saw a REAL NICE rust colored bear past your house and closer to Nate's, just west of the pond on the north side.... 3 weeks ago.

Dusk is probably best but not by a lot.All times are good with the right calls at the right time of year.Right now I would be running pup in distress and fawn in distress. :twocents:

I've gone out coyote hunting in the middle of the day in the summer heat, and seen yotes... but now I'm making it sound easy.
