Title: Westport This Week End
Post by: Hunterman on July 06, 2014, 10:29:26 AM: Going to get things loaded up in the boat today and tomorrow for the first run to Westport. We're going for broke on the fish. Salmon, Bass, Ling, cabozone, and crab. Hoping to fish Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I hope I have enough ice in the cooler :tup:

Post by: James E on July 08, 2014, 04:33:10 PM: Sunday was the last day I fished. We concentrated most of our time off the casino. 40 - 50' of water for kings. Had to run 100 - 120 for silvers.

I grew up fishing the coast commercially from 1964 thru 1975. Since I've been married we make a few trips down to Westport or Ilwaco every summer. Buckhorn2 and I try to deplete the fish population every chance we get :tup:
