Title: Momma keeping her babies safe.
Post by: woodman on July 06, 2014, 06:52:20 PM
This mother is really using her nose to make sure things are safe for her and her cubs. She also tastes the air for an added sense of what is going on around her. I have several videos of them and one cub is always close to her and the other is more adventurous. The more adventurous one often disappears and then comes back into view, it will climb up on trees while it's sibling will stay right by momma bear. I have one video of the adventurous one roaming around at about 2:30 am like it owns the place. If it survives I think it will be something to reckon with for many animals that it encounters.

I never tire of seeing these bears, but if I am posting too many please say so.

Are you kidding? Keep them coming! I live for this. I get pretty darn exited when I'm downloading pictures and find a bear on a cam.
