Title: Moose habitat ?
Post by: NOCK NOCK on July 08, 2014, 08:13:19 PM
A question for those of you who have some moose hunting experience.
I have heard a lot about moose liking old clearcuts and fire burned areas. Is this picture the kind of stuff?

Really thick and over grown, 8+ feet high.

During the rut you can find them anywhere low or high. Later in November they seem to migrate to the high country in the old burns where your new generation trees are.
