Nope...dinker. To fat and chunky in the body....nice looking snout.....I'll ease the poor things burden with an arrow to the boiler room.
-
I think you should become a blacktail hunter!
-
What a bruiser!
-
Dandy
-
While some places have larger blacktails than others I think you will find that is fine representative of the Blacktail population.
-
I would call that a "great blackie" and way above average
-
that is a great buck.
-
Nice rack but hes only a 3-3.5 year old , we need to let him have a couple more seasons to put on some mass.
I hate the hunting shows when they say that- hahha
Kill him when you see him and its legal, no question.
-
He will look so much nicer in November. I would of course arrow him the first chance I got but would prefer it happen in the late season.
-
u
-
There would be no hesitation with this buck!
-
Any 4x4 blacktail with eye guards is a good deer. :archery_smiley:
-
I would say its a good buck. Weak on the forkes still. I would also agree he is young and could turn into a masher if he lives a few more years.
-
Way above average. Good luck
-
I don't know? He looks out of balance. And once that velvet comes off he will only be about 25% larger than your average blacktail. And I bet he will taste like roses, carrots and bird seed. Who wants that! :chuckle:

Ditto's above...what are you looking for anyway? is this a city deer or a country deer? looks like a city deer probably has a lot of carcinogens in his system...i'd let him go a couple more years to bulk up and really be worth your time.

That was one of the reasons I would avoid the city deer, but now after reading about all the stuff tree farms spray I'm not sure which is worse. Guess DNR is a little better and USFS would be too.

Well i am not even goin to hunt him this year. I got drawn for a late tag so i am putting all my eggs in that basket. Me and a buddy have the sole hunting rights to the property. My buddy got drawn for bull elk tags in new Mexico and Oregon so he isn't going after him either. So we are goin take a guy that has never deer hunted before and he is going try and put an arrow in him sometime during archery season. But hopefully he makes it til next year.

Saw his identical twin at the Home Depot in Vancouver yesterday. Nearly drove off the road! Couldn't get a good picture with my phone but got a good look at him. Dang city deer torture me BAD!
-
Come on emac you know damn well thats a good blacktail! Just showing off!! :twocents:
-

the only hesitation i would have is a deep breath in and out and hold, then I'd pull the trigger lol!
-
I wouldn't hesitate to put a three bladed meat missile right through his pump house.
-
That is a fine blacktail buck...of course I live on an island. Most of them here are the size of a fat great dane.
-
Bigger Blacktail than most hunters will ever lay eyes on. Hope some dumb ass doesn't poach him before you get a chance to hunt him.
-
If you decide he's no good, let me know where he is and I'll take him out. I'm a meat hunter, so I don't mind a little young one like that
-
no hesitation...best BT ive seen in a while

Sorry, but that is not a deer. It is a horse with antlers---you could ride him if you had to.
-
And how about his buddy walking away?
