Has anyone ever hunted yotes on Spencer Island just north of Everett?  It is a WDFW land typically used for waterfowl.

Over half of the land is Snohomish County Parks land so not sure how that affects the hunting rules but I believe it is seperated north and south. Also there is a paved path with lots of walkers and bikers that use it so you won't be alone.  :twocents:

There are yotes there.  There are also domestic dogs so make sure that you know your target.  It is in a firearm restriction area; I expect you will be limited to shotgun with nontoxic shot.

I have seen lots of them out there but I didn't have a shotgun I was fishing and heading back to the dock. I hunting early goose out on the river and another hunter and his buddy bagged 3 that was stocking his decoys. I here them all the time out there most of the yotes are on the private lands. It is hard to get them with in shotgun range out there but it might be worth a try. I would hunt the pheasant release site lot more dogs over there and less people to also there are cows in the other field witch might help.
