Title: Tuna fishing Oregon Coast
Post by: snocohunter on July 17, 2014, 05:40:32 AM
My Dad and my uncles are planning a trip to fish tuna, and thinking of fishing out of Girabaldi instead of Westport like we have in the past.

Has anyone heard any reports of know if fishing has been good yet?

As of yesterday they were catching them at about 52 nautical miles out of Westport and doing good.  I would think they might be a little closer down in Oregon.

Go check out Bloodydecks.com or pectorial pursuits as they will have info on it.  If you cannot locate that info, Ifish may have a section on salt fishing or tuna.

Ifish salt water page will give you a good idea how things are going.
